Things I think of in these times!

So as an appraiser I'm looking around my neighborhood and wondering
what is happening in Temecula,California.  When I do my research
I'm particularly interested in my home's model.  So off I go to find out
that the model that I live in has recently sold for $400,000 and
upon further research I find out that the purchaser(because they
liked the home so much) paid $50,000.00 more than the asking price.
Wow- It's true not only in my area but in many of the areas that
I do appraisal work such as San Diego, Riverside, Orange and Los Angeles
counties, property is beginning to sell over the appraised value.
Maybe there is hope!  I hope the foreclosure moritorium that ends as of
September 15 doesn't flood the market and cause too many head aches!
