Things I think of in these times!

Today I write in concern for the appraisal industry. Once again the big guy wins and the little guy gets pushed out unjustly. It seems that nobody has any concern for the small appraiser or small appraisal business. This happened when the Hvcc guideline was implemented by the too big to fail organizations known as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

I was just reading about the class action lawsuit that claims that Washington Mutual influenced Eappraiseit to falsify appraisal reports over the past years.

How is it now that under Hvcc we allow the Too Big to Fail Banks to own appraisal companies while we squeeze out the small appraisal company that has spent years developing relationships in their local market place through contacts with mortgage professionals and community banks and mortgage bankers.

Have we forgotten that this country was made great by small business.
